An old saying tell of the strong essences kept in small bottles. Nothing more true if we are talking about the new Aznom Abarth 500 a real beast downsized to the shape of a Fiat 500.
For starters, let’s talk about the mid mounted engine that in its turbocharged version goes to about 243 lb-ft sending enough power to the rear wheel drive to propel the “500” from not to 60 in jus 4.7 seconds and from there to a top speed of about 245 km/h.
Still, all this power does bring some disadvantages like the nervousness and instability that can be normally felt in most of the curves. Even so, Aznom resolved this matter by taking the engine to the mid of the car, thus obtaining a better stability.
Moreover, to bring this small beast to a quick stop, the original braking system was replaces with a new Tar-Ox one that went just great with the already fitted Bilstein B14 race suspensions.
For the moment we have no informations about the price of this beast but for starters check out the video below that features the new Aznom Abarth 500 in action.
